Who are Remlite Liteway camping, tramping and outdoors products for?
Our products are for those who spend a lot of time back country and want to invest in ultralight high-performance tramping and thru-hiking gear. If you love going bush, hiking, tramping, bikepacking or backpack hunting then Remlite have the quality products that you need.
What is unique about Remlite products?
What sets these products apart is that they are custom-designed and engineered to reduce weight while remaining exceptionally high quality. An example is the clever design used to make trekking poles also double as tent poles. A Remlite tent is 2 to 3 kg lighter than a standard tent. Our tents are so light you can carry them with you everywhere and don’t need to leave them in one spot – and vulnerable to kea damage!
What is special about the tent shelter systems?
You can build your shelter system as you shop, tailoring your tent to your needs. Our tents are multi-season sheltering systems, so you don’t need different tents for different seasons. Remlite tents are adaptable to extreme wind, cold, heat with extensive ventilation options, and the ability to lower the tent in high winds. The teepee design means snow slips off, and the quality fabric and design reduce Condensation issues, weight and packability.
How do I build my tent system when ordering online?
What products are available?
Check out our shop on the website. We stock a wide range of tents and shelters, sleeping bags, backpacks, tarps, poles, storage and pocket bags, and even a rain poncho that turns into a tent. We also have a hammock system perfect for steep bushy terrain where you can’t pitch a tent.
Does Remlite have retail stores?
We don’t offer our products to stores or for retail and for good reason.. We sell directly to you, which cuts out the middleman and traditional retail markup. Most companies add about 50% at the retail level. For instance, a store might buy a product for $500 and then sell it for $1000. This model often forces brands to compromise on product development and material quality to hit specific retail price points.
By avoiding this retail model, we can use the highest grade materials and ensure the highest level of responsiveness and care for our customers. This lets us create products that give you the best value for your money. It also means we can handle warranty claims directly, which results in quicker turnaround times and ensures the quality of care we provide. Plus, we really value the direct interaction with our customers that our business-to-consumer (B2C) model allows.

You bet they do. You can find Stan’s personal Youtube channel here and see where and how he is using the gear in New Zealand’s backcountry wilderness. One of the most helpful aspects of our product R&D is testing the equipment we sell over hundreds of hours spent in our rugged backcountry.
