PyraOmm Solo Tarp
This tarp offers a great combination of being lightweight with a spacious interior and good wind resistance. It features a single zippered entrance using a YKK AquaGuard zipper and is designed for solo adventurers. The inner living space is more than 3 square meters.
The PyraOmm Solo Tarp can be pitched in several ways: using a trekking pole at an angle, with two trekking poles in an A-frame to maximize internal space, or by suspending it from the top. A minimum of four pegs are required for setup (stakes and poles are not included). It also packs down to a small size and volume.
For those wanting a two-layer shelter with bug protection, the PyraOmm Solo Mesh can be added.
Seams of the shelter are non-sealed. For seams sealing we will include the McNett Seam Grip+SIL kit.

We recommend using this shelter if your height is not more than 175 cm. For taller people, the shelter may not be comfortable. If you are taller than 175 cm, we recommend choosing other versions of PyraOmm: eitherย PYRAOMM DUO TARPย orย PYRAOMM PLUS TARP.
SETUP IN 4 STEPS
- stretch the corners with pegs in the shape of a regular hexagon.
- install the trekking poles or 2 x carbon poles (small) from the inside to the top of the tent vertically about 165cm.
- add long guy lines on a separate peg for additional wind resistance.
- tighten all guy lines for an excellent tarp tension.
