The Scoutย
The Scout shelter is designed to maximize internal space while minimizing weight. Its regular hexagonal shape provides optimal wind resistance from any direction.
This pyramid tent comfortably accommodates three people and offers an internal living area of approximately 5.85 square meters. It features a single T-shaped entrance with a reinforced #5 water-repellent YKK Aquaguard zipper.
The Scout Tarp is set up using a single carbon pole ( Medium) or two trekking poles strapped together and placed in the center. It requires a minimum of six pegs for pitching. Please note that stakes and poles are not included. The ultralight Scout boasts a small packed size and volume for easy transport.
When pitched with either the SCOUT FULL MESH 3P or the SCOUT HALF MESH 1P, it transforms into an ultralight, frameless two-layer shelter.
The shelter is made from 1.1 oz Levitex Silpoly 20D Ripstop 2000 mm.
Seams of the shelter are non-sealed. For seams sealing we will include the McNett Seam Grip+SIL kit.

SETUP IN 4 STEPS
- stretch the corners with pegs in the shape of a regular hexagon.
- install the trekking poles or carbon pole from the inside to the top of the tent vertically about 165cm.
- add long guy lines on a separate peg for additional wind resistance.
- tight all guy lines for a good tarp tension.
