PYRAOMM DUO TYVEK
Made of breathable and waterproof material Tyvek.
Ultralight tarp for two person backcountry adventures. It combines light weight with a large interior and good wind resistance. It features separate zippered YKK AquaGuard entrances and is designed for two people.
This new version is made of Tyvek™ material, a strong, difficult-to-tear yet easily cut, breathable synthetic material made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) fibers. Water vapor can pass through, but water cannot, making Tyvek ideal for tarps and footprints. The material weighs approximately 42.5 g/m².
The inner living space is over 4 sq.m. The PyraOmm Duo Tarp can be set up with a single trekking pole in the center, two poles in an A-frame for more space, or suspended. A minimum of four pegs are required for setup (stakes and poles not included). It packs down to a small size and volume.
When pitched with either the PYRAOMM DUO HALF MESH or PYRAOMM DUO FULL MESH, it becomes an ultralight, frameless two-layer shelter.
Key technology feature: all main seams are glued, eliminating the need for additional sealing compared to the 1.1 oz Silpoly 20D version.
SETUP IN 4 STEPS
- stretch corners with pegs in the shape of a regular rectangle;
- Install the trekking pole or carbon pole ( small) from the inside to the top of the tent vertically about 130 cm. For this, it is provided special protective pocket for poles or A-frame made of Ultra™ 100 at the top inside the tarp;.

We recommend using this shelter if your height is not more than 185 cm. For taller people, the shelter may not be comfortable. If you are taller than 185 cm, we recommend choosing other versions of PyraOmm: either PYRAOMM PLUS TARP ULTRA or PYRAOMM MAX TARP ULTRA.
NOTE. The sharp ends of the trekking poles should always be covered with tips. Or you can put a soft cloth / equipment under the sharp end of the pole. Do not insert the sharp ends of sticks or posts into the top of the shelter. The sharp ends of the trekking poles should always be insulated to avoid breaking the top of the PyraOmm.
