PyraOmm Solo Tyvek
This ultralight tarp is designed for fast and ultralight solo adventures, offering a large internal volume and good wind resistance despite its light weight. It features one zippered YKK AquaGuard entrance and is designed for one person, providing an inner living space of over 3 sq.m.
The new version is made from Tyvek™, a strong, difficult-to-tear yet easily cut synthetic HDPE fiber material. Tyvek™ is breathable, allowing water vapor to pass through while remaining waterproof, making it suitable for tarps and footprints. The material weighs approximately 42.5 g/m².
The PyraOmm Solo Tarp can be pitched using one trekking pole at an angle, two poles in an A-frame for more internal space, or by suspending it from the top. A minimum of four pegs are required for setup (stakes and poles are not included). It has a small packed size and volume.
Pitching the tarp with the PYRAOMM SOLO MESH creates an ultralight, frameless two-layer shelter.
Key technology features include glued main seams, eliminating the need for additional sealing, unlike the 1.1 oz Silpoly 20D version.

SETUP IN 4 STEPS
- stretch corners with pegs in the shape of a regular rectangle;
- put the trekking pole at an angle on top or on 2 trekking poles in A-form. Please note that the sharp ends of trekking poles must be covered;
- tightening guy lines for good stretch of shelter;
- add additional guy lines.
We recommend using this shelter if your height is not more than 175 cm. For taller people, the shelter may not be comfortable. If you are taller than 175 cm, we recommend choosing other versions of PyraOmm: either PYRAOMM DUO TARP or PYRAOMM PLUS TARP.
